Sahota, Inc. v. Volkswagen Group of Canada Inc., et al.
Summary
The Supreme Court of British Columbia has approved a nationwide settlement in a lawsuit entitled Dr. Harkishen Sahota, Inc. v. Volkswagen Group of Canada Inc., et al., British Columbia Supreme Court File No. S-233921, which alleges a defect in the Belt Starter Generator (“BSG,” which is also sometimes called the Starter Generator or Alternator) in the Settlement Class Vehicles.
The Defendants deny the allegations, and none of them have been proven. Instead, both sides agreed to a voluntary class settlement with no decision or admission of who is right or wrong. This website contains further details about the lawsuit and the Settlement, important documents including the Settlement Agreement and court filings relating to the Settlement, and your rights, options, and applicable deadlines.
